Ciara Havishya

Ciara (pronounced Kira) is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Calgary Alberta. Their creative practice encompasses tattooing, perfumery, illustration and painting. They studied for 3 years at Emily Carr University before moving on to establish themselves as a leader in the field of Indian decorative tattooing. They have developed an expertise in large-scale freehand tattooing with a focus on cultural and historical inspiration, with a focus on tribal blackwork and ornamental Indian tattooing.

Ciara has travelled widely and has had their work published in several print and online publications most notably Phaidon’s “Tattoo You” (2024) and “Queer Tattoo” (2022)
